Chef Werner Degelmann started his culinary career more than 25 years ago. He completed his five year culinary training in his hometown of Vienna, Austria. In Europe he worked in exclusive ski- resorts, restaurants and 5-Star hotels, such as the Golden Tulip Barbizon Palace in Amsterdam.
Chef Werner has a passion for servicing guests and he loves cooking. Accompanied by his wife, he moved to the Caribbean a few years ago to work as a private chef on yachts and at estates.
Here at Hawk’s Nest Resort & Marina on beautiful Cat Island, Werner is thrilled to offer the guests a choice of international dishes with a Caribbean flair.
The 28-slip marina at Hawk's Nest Resort has all the personalized service and amenities visiting boats require. Two air-conditioned fish-cleaning houses, 40,000-gallon diesel storage, 50 and 100 amp electric pedestals round out the services at Hawk's Nest.
