Diving Cat Island is a wonderful experience and the Dive Shop at Hawk's Nest Resort and Marina is extraordinary. The resort is a full service PADI Dive operation and has been since 2000. The Dive Shop is only a quarter of a mile south of the clubhouse and the dive sites are a stone's throw away from the shore. Guests take off around 10 am for a 2-tank dive every day. Hawk's Nest packs a lunch for you to enjoy during your service interval either anchored in the pristine Exuma Sound or making your way to another marine adventure.

Hawk's Nest Resort & Marina has a nice pool area that families can enjoy, as well as it's 400 acres of beauty and Sunset Beach that are a must see.

With a population of 1,700 the Cat Island of today remains much the same as it was in 1492 when it was first discovered. Rolling hills, dense woodlands, and isolated beaches cover Cat Island's 150 square miles. This boot-shaped, untamed island is one of the most beautiful and fertile of The Bahamas. A lush sanctuary, it provides tranquility for those seeking an escape from the pressures of modern civilization.
