Celebrate Bahama Fridays with Free Accommodations and Rates as Low as $113 Per Night

NASSAU, The Bahamas – April 9, 2010 – It’s no secret that by 4:00 p.m. on Fridays, many hardworking individuals are hardly working, staring blankly at the computer screen and counting down to the weekend. So why not lose the suit and kick-start the weekend early in The Bahamas? Book a "Bahama Fridays Free Getaway" through September 30, 2010 at participating resorts and receive free accommodations on Friday nights with a minimum four consecutive night stay, breakfast for two daily and one welcome cocktail per person per booking. Rates start as low as $113 per night, based on double occupancy, subject to availability and blackout dates. Visit www.Bahamas.com/BahamaFridays to book.

Participating hotels include:

  • British Colonial Hilton, Nassau Paradise Island
  • Grand Isle Resort & Spa, The Exumas
  • Marley Resort & Spa, Nassau Paradise Island
  • Our Lucaya Reef Village, Grand Bahama Island
  • Pelican Bay at Lucaya, Grand Bahama Island
  • Radisson and Reef Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort, Grand Bahama Island
  • Treasure Cay Resort, The Abacos
  • Abaco Beach Resort, The Abacos
  • Wyndham Resort & Crystal Palace Casino, Nassau Paradise Island

The Bahamas resorts created the “Bahama Fridays Free Getaway” offer to celebrate the fifth day of the work week by encouraging hardworking Americans to get off the clock and get on island time – tropical drinks, limbos sticks and island music in-hand.

In addition to the Bahama Fridays offer, Grand Bahama’s Pelican Bay at Lucaya Hotel, Exuma’s Grand Isle Resort & Spa and the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort on Nassau Paradise Island are each offering a chance to win a four-night trip for two, including breakfast daily, a welcome drink and airport transfers. Entries will be received through May 23, 2010 at www.BahamaFridays.com, where visitors can also watch hidden camera footage of an office manager from the fictitious company Spark Solutions, and his bathing suit-clad colleagues, as they interview three internship candidates to see how far the candidates will go to embrace the Bahama Fridays vibe.

Life in the 700 Islands Of The Bahamas just keeps getting better. And it’s easy to see why. With world-class diving and fishing, miles of picture perfect beaches, and gorgeous turquoise water, visitors have the opportunity to do everything or nothing at all. From Exuma, Eleuthera and Abaco to exciting Nassau/Paradise Island and Grand Bahama Island, this tropical paradise is as culturally diverse as it is vibrantly beautiful.
