A friendly couple of pilots from Ohio, enjoyed exploring the Bahamas over 16 years ago by private plan. When they saw Fernandez Bay's secluded beach, they were amazed at the most beautiful white sand beach and calm, clear blue waters of the Caribbean. They were fortunate to buy one of the last properties on this secluded beach. It has taken many years to build and establish Island HoppInn. Which was named because it was discovered while the owners were 'Island Hopping' in their airplane. "We changed the 'g' to an 'n' and started Island HoppInn", explained the co-owner.
Island HoppInn is located on beautiful Cat Island, at Fernandez Bay and it's beautiful secluded, mile long beach of fine white sand, along crystal clear blue water of Fernandez Bay.
There are many miles of secluded and pristine, white or pink sand beaches to play, explore or lay on. The miles of unspoiled beaches are waiting to be enjoyed.
