For additional enjoyment, Island HoppInn provides complimentary kayaks, rafts, paddleboat, bicycles, snorkeling equipment, a relaxing Oceanside Hammock, a private white sandy beach to explore or relax on, and a calm crystal blue ocean to play in.

Also available is amazing scuba diving, great deep sea and bone fishing, informative fun tours, and enjoyable boat rides. Our Sport Fish or Bottom Fishing Charters are a thrill and sure to land you a ‘fresh catch’ dinner. Great pride is taken in serving delicious cuisine to guests overlooking the crystal blue ocean.

There are many miles of secluded and pristine, white or pink sand beaches to play, explore or lay on. The miles of unspoiled beaches are waiting to be enjoyed. Island HoppInn is located at Fernandez Bay, which is near a beautiful secluded, mile long beach of fine white sand, along crystal clear blue water.

Snorkeling is so colorful! Just a short swim or wade from your suite, see beautiful coral and vibrantly colored fish. Scuba diving is fascinating for the beginner or experienced diver. Deep-Sea Fishing Charters at Island HoppInn are a thrill, with huge tuna, Wahoo, snapper, marlin and more! Two great bone-fishing flats are within walking distance.

Cat Island boasts the highest point in the Bahamas of 265 feet. Which is only a ten minute drive from Island HoppInn. An abundance of history resides at the peak, Mt. Alvernia. In the 1930's, at age 62, Father Jerome hand-built a monastery, "The Hermitage". He lived in the stone structures for over 20 years until his passing. The views from the peak are breath taking, and the structures are amazing to visit. On Cat Island a laid back lifestyle exists that few people experience. Share the leisurely pace; explore local culture and settlements, history, unspoiled beaches, island music, fishing, caves, pubs, and local restaurants. Cars and speed limit signs are few. Amazingly, you will not see one stoplight or stop sign!
